Passport Name Change

Finally getting around to changing my name on my passport after being married almost one year (traveling to Italy in October so gotta do it now!) I’m having trouble finding any answer to my question online or even getting ahold of someone calling the passport customer service line.

I’m filling out the form and it asks for the city and state of where the name change took place. I got married in a different city than where we filed for our marriage license. On the marriage license, it doesn’t say the city and state of where the courthouse I went to was, just the county. Obviously I know the city and state of the courthouse, but I’m a little confused about which place to put.

City where we got married?City where we filed the marriage license?County where we filed the marriage license? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
