Riani Roets is a well-experienced freelance Wedding Hair and Makeup Artist based in Pretoria, Gauteng. Growing up she was fondly dubbed the creative one in the family. With her love for painting and any DIY craft, makeup artistry is a natural outpour of her creative nature. Riani has been working in the wedding industry for the past years. Starting off as a makeup artist and hairstylist in 2006 she’s accumulated experience in numerous fields like television (GLAM GURU), fashion shows (Audi Fashion Week), magazines (Vrouekeur, Finesse, Woman and Home, Huisgenoot, Marie Claire etc.), corporate work (Discovery, ABSA, Deloitte) and celebrities like Elana Africa, Christina Storm, Sandra Prinsloo, Elma Postma, Mama Temba, Angelique Schoeman and Khan.
Riani is a fully qualified hairdresser and hairstylist which is naturally an added bonus in pulling the perfect look together. With her exclusive training in makeup and hair from various institutions, she also lectures part-time at a beauty academy in Pretoria. Studying somatology prior to her other training, Riani also loves testing out new cosmetic products of any kind and you might just find her looking around in the beauty aisle for hours!
