Studies were completed in Fashion Design and Technology at Natal Technicon under the guidance of industry professionals. Rene specialised in the art of perfecting the Garment Pattern, the History and Use of Fabrics and Focusing on Couture Design. After graduating in 1997, Rene started her own Couture business specialising in Tailoring and Wedding gown craft. In the last 20 years, Rene has operated in Durban, Johannesburg and now settled in Bloubergstrand, Cape Town.
