Wedding Entertainment – A String Of Pearls is a vibrant String Trio based in Johannesburg, Gauteng. They perform regularly as a string trio, and can be extended to form a string quartet.
The string trio consists of a violin, viola and cello, or can be booked as a standard string quartet. All musicians have extensive experience as soloists, session musicians and ensemble players. A String Of Pearls boasts an impressive repertoire to suit any function, from standard classics like Pachabel’s Canon in D, Bach’s Air On A G String to Gatsby-esque Scott Joplin rags, to modern pop and indie songs, such as ‘Perfect’ by Ed Sheeran, ‘Here Comes The Sun’ by The Beatles, and ‘All Of Me’ for by John Legend. The trio plays an average of 30 weddings per year. A popular choice for pre-ceremony, ceremony proceedings, as well as cocktail hour after the ceremony. A special arrangement can be made for the bride that would like to walk in during the ceremony on a specific song. The wedding package on offer reflects the most practical and popular choices.

The wedding package is applicable as long as the trio is at the venue for a maximum of 2.5 hours, or 50 minutes after the ceremony, whichever comes first.
Travel fee
The trio does not charge an extra travel fee if the venue is within 25km of Westcliff, Johannesburg.
Booking A String Of Pearls
The trio requires a 50% deposit to secure the booking. The remaining 50% is due 7 days before the date of the wedding.
The trio does not require any sound system or electricity, only a completely covered performance area, protected from direct sunlight and rain, and three armless chairs.
